Bellydance Practice Flow with Queenie
Bellydance is very useful for improving lower back issues, but when your back is sore or painful it might be more sensible to take a gentler approach. This practice is perfect for when you need to take it easy! After a short warmup, we do 2 exercises that strengthen your core safely, without crunching the spine. This way, we make sure our abs can engage in order to relieve the lower back. Next we go into our gentle dance practice with a traveling pattern, a combination using the upper body and a bit of leg strength, and we end the class with a fun sequence to improve your arm coordination. Enjoy!
